SOME OF MY FAVOURITE WEDDING VENUES IN NEWCASTLE
Newcastle upon Tyne is one of those places that manages to feel full of energy while still being rich in history and character. Sat on the Tyne, it brings together striking architecture, iconic bridges and a strong industrial heritage that still shapes the city today. There is a great mix here too, from grand historic buildings, breweries and modern creative spaces, which makes it such a versatile backdrop for weddings. It is a city that feels lively and welcoming, but still has pockets of charm and atmosphere that work so well for a celebration.
THE GARDEN ROOM
The Garden Room has a soft, relaxed feel, with a light and airy space that feels calm and considered. There is a natural flow between indoors and out that works really nicely throughout the day.
The plants and greenery are a big part of what makes it stand out, filling the space and shaping the atmosphere in a way that feels fresh and natural without being overdone.

BOILER SHOP
Boiler Shop has a really distinctive feel, shaped by its industrial past and warehouse setting. With exposed beams, steel details and a real sense of space, it feels urban and a bit different without trying too hard.
It is also a very flexible space, which means you can style it in a way that feels true to you. The stripped back setting gives you the freedom to make it your own, whether you keep things simple or go all in.

JESMOND DENE HOUSE
Jesmond Dene House has that slightly tucked away feel, where it’s hard to believe you’re still so close to the city. Set within its own grounds and overlooking the dene, it feels quiet, green and properly removed from everything.
Inside, the style is classic but not too formal, with interiors that feel warm and easy rather than overdone, and everything just flows.
